From the 1st April 2015 all practices operating under the GMS contract are required to allocate each patient registered at the practice with a named accountable GP.

Having a named accountable GP means that each patient at the practice will have one GP (a Partner) who is responsible for ensuring that work is carried out on their behalf.  All patients registered at the practice still have the right to see any GP or Nurse not just their named accountable GP.

Bath Row Medical Practice have already been allocating patients a named GP upon registration at the practice before this requirement came into place.

For patients aged 75 or over you have already been allocated and informed in writing a named accountable GP as part of the Unplanned Emergency Admissions service. This named accountable GP will not change.

If you wish to know which GP you have been allocated please contact the practice on 0121 6224846 and a member of the practice team will provide you with this information.

If for any reason you would like to change your named accountable GP please write to the Patient Services Manager and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
